It has been developed using our RadioObjX and MapObjX software components. Contact us if you would like to construct an application, portal or site using such components.
The profile displays the radio line of sight between your chosen terminal coordinates and at your chosen terminal heights, at your chosen radio frequency and at an Earth radius factor of k=4/3 . It is useful in determining the path performance for VHF, UHF and SHF fixed radio links.

The profile is constructed using terrain data derived from data from the Shuttle Radar Topography Mission data. Click here for details on this.
To use this calculator, select ‘geography’ and ‘add to basket’. Then either Register or Login and go to View Basket, Checkout and then consume the products from the My Products page.
