Transmission Loss Calculation

Free Space Path Loss is computed using Recommendation ITU-R P.525-2 equations 2.2.  Diffraction loss is computed using Recommendation ITU-R P.526-8 equations 4.5 using a 3-edge knife edge construction.  The two loss values are added together to give the transmission loss.  The transmission loss is used to compute the received signal at the mobile or portable.
